"Motion picture" looking band videos (not ours -ha ha) are recorded on sound stages, with big light shows & effects - then lip-synced to previously recorded audio while the video part is being filmed. There's NOTHING at all wrong with that - it's exactly how videos on channels like MTV are made by VERY talented people.
BUT, that's often not how it's going to look or sound at YOUR event. And you're not hiring a "movie" - you're hiring a BAND.
Does your venue have (or will YOU rent) that big of a stage? Does the Band include all that "stuff"? - those lights? Do they bring ANY of it? The answer is almost always "NO" - not without paying many thousands of $$ to someone to bring all that stuff in.
...so… while our videos are nowhere near as "Hollywood-like" as others - our band sound IS being recorded while the videos are shot ..meaning that's how we sound! (AND we bring the lighting effects that we show too)
We respectfully submit our videos show a realistic & accurate impression of what you are actually going to get with us at YOUR event - as opposed to a staged look that just isn't realistic, without piling on $$ for lots of extra "stuff"
And, that we will sound this way at YOUR event too! ...Most of our clients say our videos don't do us justice... We think that's a LOT better than seeing a band that looks like Hollywood & then getting a "garage band" that leaves your guests going for earplugs. Don't you agree?
It doesn't hurt to know what to expect! :)

"...we thought everything was fantastic. We've heard so many great things from our guests who had such a good time, very much helped out by the band. Everyone especially loved your refusal to stop when the folks at the [venue] tried to cut us off early. So thanks again for being such an important and wonderful part of our celebration. We'll be sure to tell people how great it was and hope we are fortunate enough to attend another one of your events in the future" -- Mike & Whitney Johnston MORE JOHN PARKER BAND REVIEWS

"Thank YOU John! You all were wonderful. Rodney and I were adamant about having good food and good music, but we went back and forth about the amount of money we were going to be spending… we paid for almost everything ourselves, and have been saving every penny possible so that our wedding was our dream. ...we both agreed that it was money well spent. Everyone raved about you, and I believe you will be contacted by others that were at our wedding for weddings coming up in their families. Thank you again…" Hillary Morgan READ MORE JPBAND REVIEWS
"The absolute best wedding band!
All of our guests cannot stop remarking about what a fun wedding we had and how good the band was.
John was extremely professional and organized the whole time. He made sure to hit all of our "must play songs" in and even sang two songs in Italian! It's amazing to hear the range and skill level of the band.
If you want your wedding to be the most fun dance party, look no further than John Parker Band"

PLEASE NOTE: At events, people that shoot video on their phones have NO idea where to stand so it doesn't sound weird, or look dark - but we're NOT going to send out some pro video people to interrupt people's events! - So... we take what we get & just have to accept what's here is not ideal in terms of sound or look.
Also, sometimes people understandably like to record the most "interactive" moments, like JP singing to the crowd, or the guests acting goofy, etc... and accordingly, that's a lot of what you see here. While those moments are unquestionably fun - all the video of it might leave the impression that's all we do - While nothing could be further from the truth. There's a time & place for that kind of thing - please trust we have the common sense to know when that's the case! :)
